Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Monday: low/mid 50s, partly cloudy & breezy** I hate that word. I think TV stations and such don't want to be seen as bearers of bad news so they use that word because it doesn't sound as bad as 'windy'. Most places need a near hurricane before they'll concede to using 'windy' even though I've been near knocked down by 'breezy'.

Guest SI Metman Guests Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 ="MFS62"]Which leads me to a question. What was the longest rain delay you ever sat through?LaterSat through a few 3 hour rain delays. Looking at "Sheadar", I'm a bit more pessimistic. The start of this game will be delayed for about an hour or two, but then they will have a window to play it in its entirety.
