Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Mets in green hats and just put up four runs in the sixth to go up 6-3. Diaz with a homer, Kent with one for the Dodgers.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Darren Oliver on the mound, wearing Craig Swan's digits. Looks like a big strong guy.OE: He fans a pair. Oliver's father was a big league infielder.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Corey Ragsdale wearing a Tony Clark-esque 00.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Dodgers in green hats also. Helmets are unchanged, though.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Joe "Hippas" up in a Zachrarian 40.He watches pitches like a statue.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Perisho on and struggling. Two run double, still nobuddies out. Tie game.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Actually, it was a triple. Perisho recovered and got the next two without the run scoring from third. Tim Lavigne coming on. Booth guys are talking about Doc Gooden.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Milledge ripped one down the line. Knocked down to hold him to a single.Bases are painted green also.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Wunsch is pitching with his extreme platoon splits. Two met righties have hits. Keppinger up, and he already has two extra-base hits today. They have him bunting.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Ragsdale walks in a run. Mets up 7-6.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I'm sure everyone's thrilled to have played to a 3:40, 10-inning 7-7, tie, spring training game. Some hi-lites: * Kepp's bases loaded triple was really a shallow line single to LCF that Repko allowed to bounce over his glove and roll to the wall. Kepp later tried getting an out at home on a ball hit to him but threw too high. He has a nice swing.* Diaz hit a 2nd inning solo bomb.* Traxxxx was flawless thru 3.1, then gave up 4 hits straight including a 2-run dinger to Kent, but got out of it with a DP. He said in an interview later that he was happy to have a chance to work from the stretch -- his last outoing was too easy.* Neither Chavez nor Redman have really impressed.* Milledge has. Hits it hard, nice level f-a-s-t swing.* Juan Tejeda makes Victor Diaz look svelte.* Gary Cohen's secret: He talks out of the left side of his mouth.
