Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Can't recall where we had this discussion before, so FU thread police.I got 39 names on the Mets.com 40-man roster and 39 on Edgeward;s thread (not sure if they're the same 39) so I suppose its possible we can add somebody in tommorrow's draft, perhaps from the "Scott Saurbeck Group" described in this nifty preview:http://baseballanalysts.com/archives/wtny/index.php
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Interesting stuff...wasn't David Wright a Rule 5 pick up?
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Nope. Sandwich pick in the draft.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Mine has Keppel whom I don't recall the Mets removing.Their has Self whom I thought I recalled the Mets removing. The Mets roster has Concepcion.Mine also has Hamulack double-listed, which I've just now fixed. So, it's mets.com with 39, including Concepcion and and Self.Edgy's with 38, including Keppel.

Guest abogdan Guests Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 John Sickels' take: ]New York NL: Mitch Wylie, RHP, from Giants 4.50 ERA, 58/15 K/BB in 66 innings for Triple-A Fresno. 28 years old, with a mediocre minor league track record. Throws strikes but hasn't had an ERA lower than 4.34 since 1999. A non-exciting pick.
