Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Twice in one week. I'm really setting myself up for heartbreak.Just this morning I got an e-mail from someone (not a player or coach) who was once connected with the Mets and whom many of us remember. And I invited him to join us here.So it's twenty questions time again. To avoid total confusion, I'll only answer the first question that's posed after each of my replies. Since this was a non-player, I have less information about him, so there may be more "I don't know" answers. I don't know whether he was born North or South of the Mason Dixon Line, for example, but I do know whether his name starts with a consonant or a vowel.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Was this person a general manager?

How cruel you are! I may be forgetting something. Do we somehow have Mackey's contact information?

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I suppose it would be impolitic to ask Zabriskie, "So Steve, did you ever just want to lean over and slap McCarver across the head?"

Zabriskie is looking puzzled as Ralph is rambling (I think about Orosco) and you see some ???s pop up in quotation balloonsSteve
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 As an aside, I never know where to find broadcaster/front office, etc profiles at umdb. can you collect them in a common front page link or am I overlooking something?

And suddenly he's in my e-mail box.
