Diamond Dad Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Nobody tell Traks that this isn't Pt. St. Lucie
Guest holychicken Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Great, the san fran feed has to show the collision. Thanks, I really needed to see that again.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I like Trax batting there.Seaver kept talking about a pitch count but the guy had 6 rehab starts plus a simulated game and was able to build up to 100+ pitches. No reason why he needs to be held back here and with the meat of the pen all being used yesterday I'd rather see him in bottom 8 (and maybe 9) than anyone else right now.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 There goes the no hitter. Damn you Howie Rose. And Randy Winn. And Chad Pennington, the $64 million piece of garbage.Baseball, gentlemen, please.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 only 84 pitches by trash up to this point.Id like to see him get thru the 8th.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Armando Benitez up in the bullpen for SF.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 That ump is squeezin Trachsel.Damn, at least that 1st inside pitch was a sure strike.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Hernandez warming. I can't imagine he's well rested after last night's turn, but give WWSB credit -- he knows who his best reliever is.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 my fingers and toes are crossed.and eyes
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Trax is spent it seems, if he gets through this inning it will be something else, either way it has been a great effort.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I'm worried this is one batter too many.

Guest GYC Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Trax gets out of the 8th. Nice. Winn pops up on 3-1. 1-0 Mets going to Top of the 9th.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Trax to leave the game after a brilliant job.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 WOW, he did it, that folks is one hard nosed SOB, welcome back Steve Trachsel.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 That was a hell of an effort by Trax tonite.I was certain we'd rue the 1 extra pitch caused by Jacob's inability to catch that foul pop up 5 innings ago. Now he's off the hook, Trax can only win and deserves to, and it's the longest possible time till Beltran bats again:Rally time!

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Please don't fuck this up Braden.
Guest GYC Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 It's as if they are expecting Looper to fail. Did a double switch and already have Padilla warming up before he threw a pitch. And now a double for Vizquel.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Double to right center field..
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Oddly, Padilla warming up ... before Loopy surrenders a leadoff double.Gary & Howie think something's up.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 San fran announcers giving Looper props. . . of course he immediately gives up a double.Beltran was definitely afraid to dive.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 shitttttttDiaz looked like he was runnin under water for that double, lol.wassupwidat?Comeon looperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwhew, there one out.
