We were upstairs, it was 8-0, and D-Dad really wanted to go to sleep. And I whined to him, "But the Mets haven't scored double digits yet!" As if on cue there was the 2-RBI double, and I caught up on the rest of the action via this thread.

Wow!

Jacobs is a spunky kid. I'm nicknaming him Spunky, in fact.

It's the morning after two high scoring games, and I'm walking around in a foggy state. I swear - it's like I have a hangover after getting drunk on the scoring jags.....

Casto is now 9th in the majors in OPS among catchers with more than 100 AB with .793--good for 5th in the NL.

Of course, the fact that he can jump .50 OPS points overnight means that it's a pretty small sample size, but the guy's been solid for us this year after a weak April.

Castro is at the very least going to stick around.

Now if only we could get him to smile for once instead having the ridiculous "durr!" face...
