Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 We were upstairs, it was 8-0, and D-Dad really wanted to go to sleep. And I whined to him, "But the Mets haven't scored double digits yet!" As if on cue there was the 2-RBI double, and I caught up on the rest of the action via this thread.Wow!Jacobs is a spunky kid. I'm nicknaming him Spunky, in fact.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 It's the morning after two high scoring games, and I'm walking around in a foggy state. I swear - it's like I have a hangover after getting drunk on the scoring jags.....
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Casto is now 9th in the majors in OPS among catchers with more than 100 AB with .793--good for 5th in the NL. Of course, the fact that he can jump .50 OPS points overnight means that it's a pretty small sample size, but the guy's been solid for us this year after a weak April.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Castro is at the very least going to stick around. Now if only we could get him to smile for once instead having the ridiculous "durr!" face...Come on, Ramon! Show a little emotion!
