Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 This is, without a doubt, the funniest movie I have seen this year. Go see it if you haven't already.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Easily the funniest movie I've seen all year.Valadius on Wedding Crashers. This is, without a doubt, the funniest movie I have seen this year. Valadius on the 40 Year Old Virgin. It's only August but it seems like 05 is a funny year for Valadius.
Guest cooby Guests Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Each new movie just keeps getting funnier and funnier :)

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 No it's not, just pointing out that Carrell looks like Russo, wheather you go to see it or not I couldn't care.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2005 Author Posted August 26, 2005 I didn't think anything would be better than Wedding Crashers. This is.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Valadius' credibility as a movie reviewer just took a big dive.D-Dad and I loved Wedding Crashers, so based on Valadius' review we saw this one tonight. This is no Wedding Crashers. It's not horrible. It has a great cast, some funny parts, some sweet parts, and it's watchable. But it's not as consistently funny as Wedding Crashers - it's not nearly as light a film as that one is.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2005 Author Posted September 11, 2005 I'm a college freshman, so... I probably have a bit of a different taste in movies.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Well, I'm closer in age to the lead character, but you're closer in memory to his situation ;)
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I thought it was ok. Other than recognizing the toe-sucking girl as a classmate from college, there was little to keep me interested throughout the movie. A couple of gems here and there, but by the end I was watching the clock wondering how much longer the movie would go on.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I've heard this is hilarious from a few different sources. I'll probably check it out.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Well I just saw this last night and thought it was hysterical - funnier than Wedding Crashers.Steve Carrel is great. Loved him in this, love him in 'The Office' and I even crack up when he's on talk shows. The supporting cast in this movie was great as well.5 stars. The wife and I were laughing all the way through it.
RealityChuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Better than I expected, but not much more than average. In today's dire climate for comedy, it certainly stands out, but there are hundreds of funnier movies.
