Guest MiniKnight Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 A good job by the Mets to get out of that jam - men on the corners and nobody out!
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Wright singles and scores on a VD triple. 1-0 Mets!
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 And Castro comes through - bottom of the Mets order looking sharp.Oh, and on the Diaz triple - always good to see a feet first slide.
Guest MiniKnight Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 It almost looked like Diaz was trying to hold up his swing, even though he made a full one.
Guest MiniKnight Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Two triples in one inning - wow!
Guest MiniKnight Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Look at that - the ball ricochets off the pitcher's leg, completely messing up the timing of the defense. Thus allowing the run to score and the batter to be safe.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I luv # 7, what a joy to watch.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Mr. Triple does it again! Not that far from an inside-the-parker.And Joel Cairo comes through with an off-the-ankle single...very nice Mets rally here. It's 4-0. Time to go to the bullpen?
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Cliffie going to full extension to turn an extra base hit into an out.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Do you two knights have separate computers, or are you taking turns?
Guest Beenso Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 floyd...what a fantastic guy...crazy how opinions change year after year
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 One computer/separate web browsers. After giving up a leadoff walk, Zambrano gets out of the second inning unscathed.

Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Mr. Wright hits a long double, then moves to third on a wild pitch.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Diaz whacks one off the fence, 5-zip.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 VD's double knocks in Wright. He's halfway to the cycle (I say that just to fray FK's nerves <g>).
Guest MiniKnight Guests Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Just what we were hoping for - a wild pitch!
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 MK, aren't you up late? My Mom never let me stay up this late. I'm jealous.
