Ever notice that when Reyes takes a pitch, he not only has to restrain himself no matter how far off the plate it is, but he always turns to look at the ump pleadingly? It's as if to say, "Was that a ball? Please say yes, because I could've hit it. I can hit anything. Dunno about this take thing, but they tell me it works."

It's kind of cute, but I don't think it's getting the umps on his side.
