metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Long half inning for Glavine, two out, Glavine 7/8 on the year, has won three of last four, Beltran makes the catch for the third out, no runs two hits....
Guest KC Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 0-0 after one inning. I wanted to wait to see if it was of consequence before going off on homeplate ump Rob Drake. Taveras is hit by a pitch that he runs into and wasclearly a strike on a pulled back momentum bunt thing. Do the 'stros really need any help here as hot as they've been. Anyway, they strand two and all is well. Sorta.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 we strand another guy at 2nd and waste anorther leadoff runner. We're just a different team west of the Mississippi. One that suxxx.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Good pitching dual, 5th inning and no score, just a thought but Dave O'Brien is a lot better with Hernandez, none of the BS that goes on with Seaver.Nice bit of info from Gary Cohen, on this day 1895 Casey Stengel was born, happy 115th Birthday.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Jason Lame with a solo HR that just might be more than enough to kill us.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Eighth inning. Woodie on second with one out after a bunt by Offerman.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Floyd moves him to third pinch-hitting. Reyes at the plate with two outs.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 We're alive, but this team is dead to me.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Hey, Met fans. You wanted Cairo. And Cammie, who I wanted, goes down chasing garbage.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Trade Looper, trade Bert, trade Ishii, trade Cameron, trade everybody. 2006, anyone?
Guest KC Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Well that was fun. Let's do it again tomorrow!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Trade Ernie, trade Cookie Monster, trade Snuffy.I think we need the Count, though.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 I think this team is sick. I think Mientkiewicz is packing his bags. I think if Omar is watching Baseball Tonight, we're in trouble as Buster Olney argues the reason to make a big deal is that he'll get hammered by hacks like him if he doesn't.
