Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 You mean Graves, don't you? That DeJean reference had me confused for about 15 seconds.

Guest KC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 They're showing Three Stooges on WB11 but with silly color graphics andset ups and explanations before rolling them. Do The Stooges really need to be set up for people with bells and whistles? I don't think so.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Rain delay ovah!Benson tries to keep the losing streak to three and gets Erstad with a grounder to Matsui on his second pitch.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Angels take a 1-0 lead on a nice double-play 6-6-6.There're too many 6's on this team.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 InJails up 2-1 in the top of the sixth.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Piazza stranded at second after a leadoff double in the bottom of the sixth.Floyd K's, trying to hit a home run with 2 strikes, Wright pops out to left on a very hittable pitch and Woody grounds out to short. We gotta get to Washburn in the seventh, since coming back against this pen is gonna be tough.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Woo-Hoo! Beltran makes an incredible catch that prevents a 2-run homer and keeps the Mets in the game!
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Beltran with a phenomanal leaping catch in dead center field to rob Molina of a home run and end the inning! He basically had to run back all the way to the wall and without pause, lept to bring the ball back from over the fence. Nice, nice play. Our defense and pitching have been good, but we need a run or two, boys . . .
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Pulls it back on a sno-cone. Nice. The home plate umpire had some equipment problems and had to switch to an Angel helmet. Call UniWatch.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Still 2-1 in the eight. Heilman on and looks good in retiring the side in the eighth.Mets in pinnies and blue caps. Good day for the UMDB.Speaking of caps, get your rally caps on. We go to the bottom of the eighth. Or, as the Angel announcer calls it, the ninth. Huh?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Shields gets the Mets in order in the eighth, to go with two in the seventh. Good job by him.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Our offense is terrible right now. Ugh.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Heilman looks pretty good, though. Okay, boys, let's tie it up. Wright, pinch hitter for Woody (wouldn't Daubach instead of Mientkiewicz be nice right there?), then Matsui coming up.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Holy crap!Pinch-hit INSIDE THE PARK HOMERUN BY MARLON ANDERSON!BLOWING A BUBBLE AROUND SECOND!
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 That was unfuckingbelievable!!!!Lets Go Mets!!
Guest abogdan Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Do you get Kapows for inside the parkers? That was incredible. Flyball to right center. Vlad and Finley both go for it, it hits off Finley's leg to go into right field. Anderson just beats out the throw to the plate.Molina v.2 is banged up at catcher. Don't know who LAAA's emergency catcher would be if he has to come out.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Meanwhile, the Boo Birds are in the house as Kaz Mat strikes out.Minty Fresh is up in the 9th with 2 out.

Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 There's no way in the world that Dougie went around on that pitch.Terrible call. Should've at least asked the third base ump.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Chill man - it's just one nickname among many.Damn - Kennedy steals second with one out :(
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 God damn it.Dougie boots a dribbler then loopy gives up a hard single past Wright. We suck.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Oh, the run scored from third. I guess I should've mentioned that.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 And now that Cammy got on base by not bunting ... I don't want Beltran to FARGIN' BUNT EITHER!!!Hit one into the gap and let's go home.
