Adapted from Robert Harris’ 2016 novel, “Conclave” follows Cardinal Dean Thomas Lawrence (played by Ralph Fiennes), who is tasked with overseeing the Vatican’s search for a new pope. Four candidates soon emerge, each with their own set of secrets or scandals.

People who have seen it tell me that Ralph Fiennes should win his long deserved Oscar for this one.

Absolutely ruined by the twist that landed with a thud and laughter for me , as a practicing Catholic I found it mocking, but that's nothing new with movies about the Church, 1 star for me

Somehow I saw the twist you mentioned coming, so I wasn’t surprised 🙂

I thought most of the main characters were very well acted

I gave it four
