Somewhere in Time (1980)

Our 1980 film-fest continued when this one autoplyed after the Jazz Singer. Superman goes 88 miles per hour for a hot dead actress, hijinx ensue.

We just tried to watch this two nights ago, and bailed 20 minutes in.

I don't feel like that qualifies me to give it a rating, but crikey, it was rough go for those 20 minutes.  We didn't even get to Ms. Seymour's first appearance.

Time-travel films from 1980 I was able to get through:

• The Final Countdown
• Time After Time (actually 1979, but I saw it in 1980!)
• The Day Time Ended (but only if watching the Mystery Science Theater version of a film counts as being "able to get through" it)
