Sked (games on TBS):

G1 - Saturday 2:08

G2 - Monday 9:08

G3 - Wednesday (time TBD)

G4 (if necessary) - Thursday (TBD)

G5 - Saturday

Well that's a fucked-up schedule. An NHL or NBA series can have as many back-to-backs!

Michael Busch led off the game for the Cubs with a homer and it's been downhill ever since.

Now 9-1 Milwaukee in the 4th.

This series may be slipping under the radar, but these are two really good teams.

Brewers going with 'opener' Aaron Ashby and this hasn't gone well: FO, 1B, BB, HR, K

3-0 Cubs, middle of 1st

So if you're the Brewers, who not only won their division but did so going away AND had about a week to set up the rotation (and lose twice to the Reds) over the final weekend of the season plus the Bye games in the opening round, how do you wind up with a bullpen game in the second post-season game you play?

Shota Imanaga for the Cubs

Cubs score three in the top of the 1st, but the Brewers score three in the bottom half and it's 3-3 thru 2

Jacob Misorowski -- 'Les Mis' -- the ASG starter for the NL back in July is in to start the top of the 3rd for Milwaukee

And 7-3 Milwaukee is the final.

All the runs scored on homers (3 by Milwaukee, one by the Cubs).

This is my first post since the Mets went out. I haven't watched one inning of the playoffs

Go Brewers, Craig Counsell is a sniveling little shite

The Cubs & Brewers complete a near 45 minute long 1st inning with the Cubs up 4-1 by the time it's finally over.

Runs scored on a leadoff HR, a WP, a two-run single (PC-A), and on an infield pop-up (runners 1st & 3rd/one out) where the Cubs infielders were so lost in the Wrigley sun & wind that the umps felt the 'Infield Fly Rule' was never justified even as it fell untouched between home and 1st.

Brewers' starter Preister didn't survive the inning.

19 pitches for Cubs starter Taillon. 53 between the two Milwaukee hurlers.

And just eight more innings to go.

Cubs survive to play again.

Cubs fans commence singing 'Go Cubs Go' until the bars close (and probably a bit longer after that).

Brewers, who led the NL in BA this season, have one hit thru four innings

oe: ... now two with a (soft) leadoff double from Sal Frelick in the 5th ... followed by a walk.
