I have no patience, at all, for fans who trash talk. Whether the Mets win or lose, it's no reflection on me. I remember when I was in Seattle years ago, walking around in my Mets cap hours before the game, and a Mariners fan yelled, "The Mariners are gonna beat the Mets tonight!" Probably expecting me to join in with something like, "Oh yeah? The Mariners suck! The Mets rule!" But instead I said, "Maybe. Who knows? I guess we'll wait and see."
