One oddity in this game that I've never seen in a baseball box score before: the Jets fumbled in each of the first three innings.

Only one run allowed (so far) but Darvish doesn't survive the 2nd inning.

Leaves down 1-0 but with bases loaded and no outs. All three runners are his.

Looking up and down these lineups. The Mets lineup beats both of them.

I don't that doesn't actually lead to runs scored, but in terms of individual stats, the Mets were scarier.

Cubs also have better speed and defense.

They also now have a 3rd run on a Michael Busch HR to lead off bottom 7.

They had been stuck on 2 runs since the 2nd despite 10 hits (now 12) including lots of leadoff batters on.

Cubs tried very hard to blow that one in the 9th -- HR, HBP, HBP -- but just couldn't manage.

So it's Cubs @ Brews, Dodgers @ Philly

Crow-Armstrong's bases-loaded hit in the first seemed to have a lot of air under it. Tyrone Taylor probably gets to that, and Pete Crow-Armstrong almost certainly does, but Jackson Merrill wasn't anywhere near it.
