NEW YORK -- Amid a flurry of moves, the Mets on Monday added another patch to their bullpen, agreeing to terms with left-handed reliever Dicky Lovelady on a Major League deal.

Lovelady will be active for the Mets' series opener against the Braves at Citi Field, and he'll be joined by outfielder Travis Jankowski, who was selected to the Major League roster. As a corresponding move, the team optioned infielder Luisangel Acuña -- who had appeared in 65 games for the Mets this season -- and right-hander Tyler Zuber to Triple-A Syracuse.
