Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 I have had a recent bad habit of letting life get in the way and tuning in late, but this is the second straight day I am tuning in mid-game to find a 3-0 Mets lead, with the Nats having but one hit. Also, both times, the Mets extended that lead to 4-0 shortly after I tuned in. In fact, both times, that tack-on was added on a Nimmo solo shot.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 And when it feels like nothing can go wrong, Ghosty Forky goes down.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Author Posted June 12, 2025 Hammy, see ya in September Personally I don't believe that have moved Manaea quickly enoughMake it happen

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Senga did leave the field looking pretty ok and walked downthe dugout steps with little discomfort so let's just hope it's some tweaky or crampy thing.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Senga lowered his ERA today to 1.47 if I remember what Gary just said ten minutes ago.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Author Posted June 12, 2025 Was Manaea's estimated time out 8-12 weeks? If so I'm asking too muchSure they are able to go about things conservativly but at the end of the day Sean is a very highly paid athlete and I'd like to see him on the mound soonerIf that's not possible it's not possible I'm just as frustrated that Stearns two big pitching spends have contributed zero to nowGriffin Canning? He's been terrific blah blah blah I'm more upset than anything
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 McNutty sits. Wonder if it's because he didn't run to first in his last AB.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 The Mets have the best record in the majors and the most outstanding starting pitching. I am neither frustrated nor upset, apart from my gross disappointment with the character of my country.
