When this moment in our politics is left to the historians to analyze and dissect unemotionally, it will be a sad and tragic telling.



This country has lost its mind. This vile piece of shit should be trailing by 30, 35 points. And then the corrupt SCOTUS and judiciary that enables him to go on when he already should have been impeached by the Senate, barred from ever holding office again under the insurrectionist clause of the 14th Amendment, convicted of Federal crimes and incarcerated.



And as if that's not enough, SCOTUS made him more powerful by orders of magnitude by granting him the freedom to commit crimes without consequences.

Sandy, it should be remembered, fielded a question about January 6 the next day during a media Zoom call discussing the acquisition of Francisco Lindor:

As somebody like myself who spent a few years defending democracy, I guess in some way, not just yesterday but the last few years have been extraordinarily disappointing. But we have institutions that protect us from individuals in most cases, and it seems that those institutions have not only survived but guaranteed our survival as a democracy. So that's my view.
