Sox finished off the Giants. Twins plowed over the Padres. Miami couldn't quite take care of the Diamondbacks, but the Phils edged the Braves. Overall, it's been a damn good day — one that nonethelsss ends with the Mets a game and a half out of the money.

I caught the walk off call on XM as I was with my daughter at a doctor's appointment. What a great moment for Winker, who somehow went from being an uber douche to just another fantastic baseball player.
