Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 Pete's homers all seem to be going to the same spot this year.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2024 Author Posted April 12, 2024 So for a whole host of reasons -- rainouts, reschedules, day games/work skeds, various other shit -- I've seen two, maybe three, games live so far this season. So tonight I was looking forward to the return home and some better weather ... except that 20 minutes prior to game time my cable/internet/streaming goes out. A local outage problem as it turns out, so it wasn't just me or anything I did but not some system-wide funk either. And now 20 minutes after the game ends it comes back on line. It's like my NYM viewing is having the same kind of season thus far as Lindor; I'm barely on the interstate myself.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 Half a game behind the second-place Phillies.A slim matter of five percentage points out of the second Wild Card spot. And a .534 Pythagorean winning percentage.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Just watched the highlights - missed most of this one to sit in on a friend's gig and play some guitar. Nice to see them scoring runs by chaining some hits together. That's a more sustainable way of winning than what we've been seeing
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2024 Author Posted April 13, 2024 Four separate two-out RBI Hits resulted in five of the six runs.Pete's solo HR leading off the 8th was the only non 2-out RBIAll of that helped to overcome three GiDPs which erased a leadoff baserunner.
