Ron batted left handed, but the only picture of him I've seen in the obits is the one that shows him batting right handed (at Shea).

Didn't anyone care?

Have we ever discussed this (the re-printing of reverse images) before?

What other examples have been found?

Alou tried to prank the Topps photographer by batting lefty. Topps caught the prank and reversed the image so that Alou would appear batting the right way - righty. The giveaway is the "NY" on the cap and also, the Mets jersey wordmark which is slanting upwards.
