G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2023 Author Posted July 18, 2023 Since April 23, the night Alvarez hit his first home run of 2023, Alvarez has outhomered Alonso, 18 to 16.The last Met who wasn't Pete Alonso to lead the Mets in HRs was Michael Conforto, with 28 in 2018. Hard to fathom anybody's in theoretical reach of the Polar Bear.
