Just because I started it doesn't mean I own exclusive rights to it.

I just wanted something in between the old (one day) 'Out of Town Scoreboard' threads we used to have (which were too short) and some horrid and bloated season-long 'all purpose non-NYM shit' thread that we'd inevitably fall into.

I wanna say the Buccos have been helped by lots of games with the Reds so far but good to see signs of life there.

The Rays have been so torrid that it's easy to miss that the Orioles have the second-best record in the division, and third-best in all of baseball.



The American League East is looking positively upside-down. Of course, under the current format, I suspect they'll all make the post-season anyhow.

The Pirates are awesome. I remember watching the Mets at Pirates at Forbes field way back

After giving up 3 in the 8th to lose the first game of the series, Pirates follow with wins of 8-1 last night & 6-2 today to take two of three from the Dodgers.

Maybe they really are on the upswing. And this is all without their 8 ft tall SS

Braves are in a lengthy rain delay this afternoon, and they're bringing the

rain to Queens this weekend. Sniffle-sniffle through three.

And two innings later the Braves are going to win by the mercy rule so, even if they get in late, it'll be with all their important pitchers rested and ready.



Actually it's still just 3-0 but it's bases loaded and none out so I'll take the 'Over' on 11.5 for this innings total RS.

Not only did the Braves stall at four runs but they've just coughed up FIVE to the Marlins in top 9 (and still batting!) most of those after two were out. Closer AJ Minter was the main culprit and was pulled, but he had help.

Marlins win! THAAAAAA MARLINS WIN



Braves scored 4 in the 8th on Wednesday to come from behind and win 6-4 so this was a nice, and stunningly unexpected, payback.

MFYs swept in Texas, going down 15-1 today. They are like 8 games out and Judge and Stanton both hurt. I'd lol more but we're almost as bad.
