Is Gary Cohen trying to be annoying this year Seemed annoyed with Keith right there

He was definitely annoyed that Keith so easily went to the line about how increased inter-league play is something "the fans want these days".

Gary immediately shot back with words to the effect of: "Which fans? What percentage? How many?" and, in doing so, got Keith to retract his

statement and admit that it's really just MLB claiming this is true and we're supposed to take their word for it that there's some kind of proof

backing this up and not just a continuation of Party line pr going back to Bud Selig's oft-repeated mantra that inter-league play was a "gift to

the fans". Gary then went on to frame it as merely the next step in the plan to dismantle the leagues in favor of regional realignment.

Baseball's been doing this since the Bud Selig era. "We took a poll and this is what the fans wanted...." And it was usually such an utter and obvious horseshit fabricated pretext.
