G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 A spate of familiar names are given the organizational heave-ho.The Mets' offseason restructuring has claimed a popular player from the franchise's last World Series-winning team.Tim Teufel, who spent the last two decades in various instructional roles for the Mets, won't be retained by the organization, according to industry sources, as part of general manager Billy Eppler's shake-up of the minor league system. Teufel, 64, spent the last six seasons as the Mets' minor league infield coordinator.Others who won't be retained include senior director of pitching development Phil Regan; director of hitting development Hugh Quattlebaum; St. Lucie complex field coordinator Brian Schneider and St. Lucie complex outfield instructor Endy Chavez.https://nypost.com/2022/10/18/mets-move-on-from-tim-teufel-amid-minor-league-shakeup/https://nypost.com/2022/10/18/mets-move-on-from-tim-teufel-amid-minor-league-shakeup/
