I have The Mets from Mobile in my old Mets book library. I don't think I've ever

seen the other old one's cover. Kinda weird, because I used to be pretty anal

about this stuff years ago.

I had a phone conversation with the author of the new Cleon Jones book last fall. I forget what we talked about! He was putting the finishing touches on his book and he wanted to talk to me (because of the UMDB) about, I think, Cleon's Mets legacy.

I've been mentioned in one or two Mets books. The most amusing, of course,

was when an author incorrectly stated that themetfairy and I were married.

I have both of the old Cleon books in my own "Mets library". But I get the sense, from years and years of following the Mets collectibles and memorabilia market, that the "Cleon" book that you don't have was published in small or limited quantities. That book just doesn't come up nearly as often as other Mets books from that era.

Right, there's two on eBay. One for $20 and a signed one for much more. I'm

in liquidation mode right now, my completionist days are long behind me.
