MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 I'm following the St. Lucie game on MILB.com. It gives a pitch-by-pitch report.Alex Ramirez just "struck out on an automatic strike".I haven't heard of this before. What is that? Does some new rule (intended to speed up games) require the ump to call a strike if, say, the batter not take his place in the batters box in X amount of time?Something else?Later
