Seems to me that if you're claimed by the Reds this year you should have the right to refuse (although they won today for the first time in the last 12 games)

For someone that was on the NLCS roster and was introduced at the home opener, he did not have a memorable Mets career with the exception of his sleepy HR in Cincinnati.
