I know there are voluntary workouts today only because it was reported that Max Scherzer was attending, despite them being voluntary. But there's not much for my baseball hungry soul to feed on with that. It's guys playing catch. Fboy and I could put Mets hats on and go have a catch today (if they weren't calling for a foot of snow in the 'Cuse, that is).



I'm more interested in knowing when the full roster will start appearing, and when the first ST games are held and broadcast on a channel that I can watch.

ST is slated to open on Sunday.

Not sure about games only that there will obviously be fewer of them with OD being four weeks from today.

Game times for ST games have been posted and the home weeknight games are 6:05 PM starts. This is unusual as there is maybe one night game each spring. I wonder if this is Buck's doing with his attention to detail (perhaps: "we play more at night than during the day so we should practice at night"). It's better for the fans as they stay out of the hot sun (and can catch a day game in Jupiter or West Palm Beach).
