My favorite Banner Day memory goes back to 1962, when there was no parade, but fans could bring them to the Polo Grounds.

The camera panned the upper deck, where they were being displayed, and one of the Mets announcers was reading them off as the camera got to them. Then, the camera briefly showed one that said, "FUCK O'MALLEY" until the director quickly cut to a commercial.
