The Mets and Braves lock up at 12:10 PM, as much of the league will be playing in the daytime to clear the evening for management to wrestle with the big decisions. Hold 'em or fold 'em.



This evening's win for the Mets means the series will be neither a wipeout of the Braves forcing them to sell off nor the four-out-of-five surge that they might have hoped would really put the heat on. They may well end up standing pat, but Drew Smyly (Atlanta has a lot of skinny pitchers these days) and Taijuan Walker will help settle that bill before all is said and done.

Wasn't the right handed hit-machine Guillorme available? I was puzzled as to why he didn't bat. Though he may have PHed and I missed it. As noted, this was more a shoot-the-shit day at the ballpark than a watch-the-game day.
