Yeah, the Mets shouldn't be forced to scramble or cover for his ass.



Did his agent, who ultimately delivered the message, completely fuck up and not deliver it earlier as he should have? that is about the only way Cespedes wouldn't be the dick here.

But it just might behoove them to do so. They generally don't. In fact, they usually go the other way.
