Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Yes folks, TWiB Notes is back this year despite no popular demand whatsoever.- Mike Foltynewicz somehow cleared waivers and has been sent to the Braves' 'Alternate Site' (sounds like the place where Black Ops squads take people who are then never heard from again)Considering the teams that are in desperate need of pitching (starting w/Boston) or just plain healthy bodies (Miami) I'm surprised he slid right through.- Talk about your slow starts, how's this for a line?: .037/.071/.148 in 28 PAAnd the weird part? ... it's Christian Yelich. 6 for 27 (5 singles, 1 HR) w/1 BB and 12 KsUgh!

And five singles and a homer is a .333 slugging percentage.
