There are a bunch with different Mets alumni. This is the first with a Met-Lovin' Big Shot, and they don't get much more MLBS than Jerry Seinfeld.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 Jerry seems to think he saw the Mets play the Padres in 1967. Now that's a magic loogie.

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 We streamed the pilot episode of Seinfeld the other night, which as I recall debuted as The Seinfeld Chronicles in 1989.It was more Met-centric than the show you remember, which didn't debut till a year later. There's a prominent Mets poster dead centyer in the apartment and a Mets mug on the counter, and Kramer's first-ever gaffe is spoiling the result of a game Jerry VHSed (not DVRed). Then it hit me that the Mets weren't really joke when they would have written and set and shot it.
