Going to the Game - Minor League version

Headed to see the St. Lucie Mets on Thursday! Might be as close as I get to seeing Mets this year. Going with my family.



We went to two games in Jupiter. Actually, one and a third games. The first one was rained out after three innings. Really low attendance. Got a foul ball on Sunday, then two on Monday — and a third was handed to be from the Flying Tigers manager, who used to manage in Grand Rapids.



I'm one of those ballhawk guys. One was in the concourse, and as I was picking it up another came bouncing my way.



Today we went to the cemetery to replace the flowers on the graves of my nephew and grandparents and paid our respects to Gary Carter.

My daughter is getting tickets for the family to see Binghamton play at Hartford in August.

A friend's son turns 21 today and the family is celebrating by getting a suite at Canal Park in Akron tonight, so I'm going to see the Rumble Ponies play the Rubber Ducks.



It's Shawshank Redemption night. First 1000 get a Warden Norton bobblehead. The jokes kind of write themselves.
