Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 I'm surprising myself by going with "Pennant Pressure.""Mona" is inspired, but there's puzzling detail. Is her camouflage undershirt meant to invoke Randy Myers? Randy was gone for about a year and a half by this point. And he only wore short-sleeve camo, as I imagine any exposed sleeves of the pitcher's have to be uniform in color. Plus, if it's a Myers reference, Mona should be lefthanded. And her glove looks like it's from 1932.The pissy, childish, God-dammit-every-call-is-supposed-to-benefit-ME! face that Rose is making cinches it for me, even if half the shot is obscured.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Mona Lisa and Bud Harrelson (who have never competed against each other in any way, shape, or form prior to this) are currently tied at five votes each, with several precincts still to be heard from.My vote was for Mona.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 If Mona Lisa doesn't just win this round and then make it to the semis (at least), I'm tearing this place apart! (I just watched John Wick so I'm a little revved up.)
