ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Reds have shown some life thus far but Tanner Roark does not scare me.Zack should scare themWho plays 2b and does Alonso hit third.LGM
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I'd be highly surprised if anybody not named "McNeil" is playing second.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Cano MRI negative, just swollen.

LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Did I just have a stroke, or did a Lou Brock graphic with musical stinger just pop on the screen?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 It's been happening since last year. Every time Keef brings up Lou, the booth triggers the graphic.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 This is a big moment.bases loaded 2 out 3-0 pitch
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Alonso with the bags juiced and I keep picturing Batting Stance Guy.BALL FOUR! One-run game.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 McNeil should have been breaking there. Lefty pitcher. Shift on Conforto. He should be halfway home at the start of the pitch.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 You know what would stop these silly hair-splitting challenges: you get it wrong and you lose your challenge for the next game
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Lorenzen didn't Homer, but got down the line and made that a play
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Sometimes I forget how much Keith loves guys adding to their RBI totals.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Go, Laggy!!!Votto is so consistently terrific. It's surprising that he's only won one MVP.

But that play was a virtual and obvious tie at best, so the idea that the game gets stopped, for how ever long it gets stopped, so that the umps can decide a coin flip isn't within a Pete Alonso HRof what the rule was intended to "correct". If only this kind of silliness could have been foreseen prior to employing the rule!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Frazier went down looking at a neck-high fastball. That's some weird umping.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Well, that was a very Frazier inning.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Wow, I thought we were toast there.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I don't know what is going to happen here, but I'm pretty over the moon that McNeil is putting teams in the position of walking him to get to Alonso.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Pete's got to stay a little more within himself in situations like that.
