Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Has the order of the starting rotation been announced yet?I'm thinking it's deGrom/Syndergaard/Wheeler/Matz/Vargas unless they don't like having their two lefties go back-to-back. Then maybe Wheeler goes fourth and either Matz or Vargas goes third? It looks like the only starter that's been announced so far is deGrom on Thursday. On MLB.com, both Saturday's and Sunday's starters are TBD.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 I think they need to decide based on which order combo provides the opportunity for the best mnemonic.Don't Mess With Satan's Viagra Dark Storms Vex My WildebeestDemocrats Must Veto Wall SpendingI mean, how else are we supposed to remember?
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Well it looks like G-Fafif started the IGT already. And since he stays on until they win, that should take us until about April 23. After that, maybe go by seniority? Edgy, KC, then the JCL/FK brothers. That should be enough to get us to the All-Star break.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Arguably the second guy is the Home Opener starter, so I'd guess Syndergaard.

There really are no rules for forum turnover etiquette.
