Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 And a Kieboom! off the bat of Conforto gives the Mets a 2-0 lead in the bottom o' the first.Dowdy throwing the second.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Kyle Dowdy has to face the bases loaded after a hit and two walks, but gets out of it on a grounder to short.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Dowdy ended up going three shutout innings. If he makes the team, this will be the day he turned the corner.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 We have a Carlos Gomez appearance.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 What number is he wearing
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 I didn't note it. He's taken over in right, so I'll keep my eyes open.Spencer Kieboom just Kaboomed the Nats into a tie. No-doubter line drive. Ronny says Tim Peterson was going to the first-pitch fastball too much.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Leadoff double in the seventh for Mesoraco. Guillorme bunts him over.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Itchy Verria plates him with a deep fly to right. Mets back on top.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Lou-Z eighth for Zamora, as lower level minor league floaters for the Nats bat him around and the Nats lead 4-3.Bases loaded and two out for Spencer Kieboom. Nats can break it open here.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Mets down 6-3 after the Zamora debacle, but now they have two on and no outs after back-to-back singles by Nimmo and Rajai. Alonso at the plate.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Somehow Alonso drives one into the pitcher's foot so hard that it rebounds into foul territory. Bezes loaded.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 New pitcher. Go-Go back at the plate.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 And he goes down hacking.Dominux Smith now up.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Liner up the middle scrapes off the shortstop's glove and it's a two-run single and a one-run game!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Meso goes down swinging at junk in the dirt. Two out.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Guillorme walks and Hechaverria at the plate with the sacks juiced again.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Lonely-assed thread.Toffey shows nice wheels as he leads off with a bunt single.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 I'm reading it anyway. Best way I know how to follow the game.I guess hechaveria didn't drive in the tying and go-ahead runs with a triple off the wall
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 A 400-foot out by Nimmo, a strikeout on a dubious pitch for Rajai, and then, with McNeilio abat, Toffey gets thrown out trying to advance on a pitch in the dirt.Pretty good day for Nimms, but the score came down against the Mets.
