bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 A stacked region. Two bad choices in 2.0.1 and 2 great ones here.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 David might win the whole thing.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2018 Author Posted December 7, 2018 That's his only remaining cover, so he has all his chips riding on that one.The results of this thing are always surprising, but my guess is that the winning cover will be either this David Wright cover, or one of the covers featuring deGrom or Flores. Or maybe that Rusty Staub cover...
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 I think it comes down to deGrom versus Wright.Wright is the bigger story, as far as overall Mets history. But I think the story of 2018 is deGrom's historic season. We'll see how it shakes out.For all I know, it may be that Sandy Alderson game show cover.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted December 14, 2018 Author Posted December 14, 2018 This was a battle between a cover for the end of David Wright's career vs. one for the end of Yoenis Cespedes' season. The look on Yoenis' face tells the story of the outcome. Cespedes, featured on the winning covers of the 2015 and 2016 Derbies, is still alive in this one, however, with Newsday's SUCCESS cover.A WRIGHT TO REMEMBER, meanwhile, will advance to the third round and will face Amed Rosario and the Daily News' WHAT THE BLANK!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Where did the TCD team take that picture? It's a long way from the subway and Sweden!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted December 14, 2018 Author Posted December 14, 2018 It's Cape Town, South Africa.
