Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 How do Yankee fans live with that crap?Simple: Because they believe it benefits them more often than not.NOW Conforto gets a hit.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Too long to review and inconclusive. Yet it gets overturned
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 I think someday, perhaps quite soon, slow-mo replay and umpire reviews are going to show the world that almost all sliding players break contact with the bag for infinitesimal moments.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 So this will make it about six minutes between live pitches. But, hey, at least they're 3.6% more sure that they got the call right and that's the only thing that matters (or so I've heard)
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 MFYs are losing so they needed some help from the league.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 I enjoy when the high fastball is getting it done.

Replay is only going to be used to correct obviously blown calls. That's what we were promised anyway.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Noah’s the best:Booth: “Noah you looking forward to going to Williamsport?”Noah: “Yeah as long as they don’t have Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease.”Hahahahaha

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Suxx that Jake's gotten nicked up by a bloop-a-thon.I think Austin Romine's 2nd inning single is their hardest hit ball of the game for the home team.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 These ESPN announcers are hacks. Also, apparently Frazier wanted to wear #21 as a MFY because his childhood favorite was Paul O'Neill, and then when he got to the Bronx they would not let him have it. Because, as we know, the Yankees are all fucking assholes.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Wilmer Flores is no Reggie Jackson... thanks for that laugh.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 'twould be nice if some of these HRs came with, y'know, runners on base ... but I'll take it.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 We should send Kurkjian a link to the CPF Rankings project.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Would prefer to see a bigger lead considering that were out-hitting them 12-5 and have out-HR'd 'em 5-01/6 w/RiSP
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Yeah not getting Flores in from 3rd bothers me.
