A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 (edited) Griff Tannen, AKA Tommy Wilson, is the grandson of Biff Tannen, and according to Dr. Emmett Brown, he has bionic implants, which give him enhanced strength and may or may not be legal in professional baseball. Tommy Wilson at baseball practice with Hill Valley High:Despite photographic evidence to the contrary, Tommy Wilson is not a hitter, but a big-bodied, right-handed pitcher the Mets drafted with their 19th pick in the 2018 draft. According to Amazin Avenue, he went to St. Mary's College after high school, but since he's a slacker, he didn't play any college ball til he transferred to Pierce College in 2017. After a successful season there, he transferred again to perennial powerhouse Cal State Fullerton, where he went 7-0 with a 2.71 ERA, striking out 81 hitters in 89.2 innings and eventually finding his way to the Mets! Great Scott! He has since taken his 93 MPH fastball to Brooklyn and has not yet allowed a run in 6.1 innings in 2018. He's walked 3 and K'd 6. He's 22 years old so hopefully a rapid rise is in his future. And if things get rocky, we already know his grandpa Biff stole the DeLoreon in 1985, so alternate time lines where young Griff becomes a Major League legend are very very plausible.Fun little extra tidbit- I am one of his 27 followers on YouTube, where he posts really cool drone vids that he's shot. If this baseball thing doesn't work out...qgolq9oS2ns Edited July 24, 2018 by Guest

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2018 Author Posted July 25, 2018 Good Q! This is a shot from the Cafe 80s in 2015 Hill Valley (BTTF2), so pop culture icons from the decade, but I have no idea who. Green hat bearded guy Yakov Smirnoff?
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 I just checked my Grays Sports Almanac to get some end-of-season stats, and it looks like we may have a baller on our hands.First pro season complete, Tommy threw 22 innings in relief for Brooklyn, he gave up only 13 hits and K'd 27 (1.23 ERA, 11.0 K/9). Given his advanced age for A ball (22, 23 next May), I'm calling a St.Lucie/Binghamton double-feature next season for him.Have one last look at him in a Brooklyn uni:
