Rivera• The return of Gavin Cecchini• The promotion of Peter Alonso• The return of David WrightOr a couple more Jack Reinheimers from out of nowhere. I think we've got a shot at history.Eat your heart out, 1967!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Who said that this was a lost season? The half-hour highlight film, after the 11 and 1 start, will simply be a montage of every player.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 They used 64 in 2014. 60 broke the record, and then they used four more.https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/TEX/2014.shtml

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Get me to 55 and I'll be satisfied. Fifty-Four in Sixty-Seven is that rare Mets record I've been conscious of seemingly my entire fan that's never been broken, right there with 40-120 and 25-7. I don't expect the latter to fall and lord help us if we ever approach the former.(I should throw in the eleven-game winning streak, but at least it's been tied multiple times since it became enshrined as unbreakable.)
