Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 There certainly are fans who are growing disconnected. I'm sure that's been happening throughout history. The question is, are the number of younger enthusiastic fans sufficient to replace those who are losing interest? I suspect they probably are. Even if the absolute numbers are lower (and I have no idea whether or not this is the case) I think it's likely enough to sustain the game (or more accurately, the industry) for a long time to come.

Here, there, and everywhere.I don't think anyone is disputing that. That doesn't make it boring.Oh, I'm disputing that. That's very much in dispute. But of course you would. For me, what other people find boring/exciting about ________________has zero effect on how I feel about it. Zero.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Sure. So let's keep it on whether we think it's boring and not how to fix it for mythical other people that may or may not be finding it boring as a reason to not watch.

Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 i find the game boring when the Mets are having a season like this. If they're having a good year, i'm very much not bored.
