The Mets offense (or lack of) is an absolute embarrassment. The starting pitching (when Syndegaaard is healthy) is good enough to win on most noights. Unfortunately, the offense can not be counted on to score 3 runs on a regular basis. The pitchers ( starters and bullpen) need to be virtually perfect in order for the Mets to win.
