I noticed Jarred Kelenic was absent from the GCL lineup today. And then I realized he was scheduled to be in New York to take some big league bp and probably get an introduction before the game.

He's coming out in style, having gone 8-13 with a double and a triple to start off his career in the GCL. That's a .615 / .615 / .846 // 1.462 start!

I imagine he won't be heading back to Florida, but rather flying down to the South Atlantic League to join the Kingsport Mets. He might even stick around to become a Brooklyn Cyclone. Probably not, but we'll see.
