Nice that we're not seeing Greinke, the guy originally scheduled for Sunday.
I think the DBacks manager is fraidy scared of Thor.

Let's get this one (even though it's Sunday) and with the Marlins coming into town, it's time to get on a roll (perhaps a bulky roll!).

This is the last team in baseball that can afford to bench a guy that's hitting a homer every other game. And he's crushing those homers, to boot.

With 18 games in the next 17 days, backup catchers are going to play.

When did Clay Buchholz become unhittable?

When the blue and orange became his opponent.

Especially when you are already starting a minor leaguer at 2B and the backup catcher is also a minor leaguer (and you are playing a plus .500 team today and the Marlins tomorrow).

I think Keith (and, maybe to a slightly lesser degree, Ron) might blame infield shifts as the cause for global warming, poor hygiene, and middle east unrest.

And he wound up at 102 pitches which is a shade under where you'd like to be thru 7 (7 x 15 = 105).
It's just a shame he wasted all those throws early in the game to where he needed the quick innings just to get back down to average.

Nice job by the SNY cameraman to stay with Mesoraco yesterday and Cabrera today to capture their reactions to their no-doubt home runs.

At the same time, I like that Rosario didn't take it for granted that his (2nd HR) was gone and instead busted it out of the box with a possible triple in mind if it stayed in the park.
