Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Rain expected all day in Atlanta.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 What about Spahn and Sain?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 A rainout probably wouldn't be the worst thing for the Mets right now.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Mets are 4-1 in games started by Nimmo, the only loss being the bullpen-blown walky-walky game to the Nats.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 (edited) A rainout could mean a DH on either May 28, 29 or 30 (perhaps a Memorial Day DH). That's already a stretch with 17 games in 17 days (which is followed by 3 off days in the next 8). Or as Howie just said, on the other side of those 8 days they are back in ATL on June 12 for the 3d time already and there is an off day on June 11 following a Sunday Night game. G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 June 11 is a mutual off day for the teams talked up by the radio guys as the landing spot for a possible makeup game. Mets will be in town in advance of a two-game series.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Should they play, today is Cabrera's first time batting cleanup since Opening Day. He's batted leadoff five times, second five times, third four times and fifth four times. Mickey must love this guy.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 My guess was better than Howie's:[tweet:11oh2c45] [/tweet:11oh2c45]

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 This gives us more time to get ready for the FAFIF team on CBS tonight at 10 PM (and an extra day to stew over last night's game).
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 It's a nice sunny day at my house. Maybe they can come here and play.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Why can't they just ship some nice weather to where it's raining?
